The Haines Walkabout app for iPhone and iPad

The Haines Walkabout mobile app was created by the students at Haines Borough School District with Crescerances MAD-learn program. The Haines Walkabout is a mobile app providing up-to-the-minute event calendars and visitor information including hotels, restaurants, travel information such as RV services, gas and banking, recreation, and retail. The app highlights the Sheldon Museum and the town’s cultural and historical heritage. This easy to use free app helps visitors find all the information they need to plan a vacation in Haines or spend a fabulous day exploring this quaint town located in the Chilkat Valley in Haines, Alaska, a popular cruise ship destination and favorite of RV tourists.
